Vision

Junction on Fenton is a joint project between Toi Ohomai and Rotorua Lakes Council. Our vision was to create a high-quality commercial café in central Rotorua, focused on providing a top-notch dining experience and offering training opportunities for the next generation of hospitality leaders.
This unique destination café provides students with a fast-paced commercial learning environment under the expert guidance and management of a highly experienced crew. Junction on Fenton aims to demonstrate the spirit and normalisation of biculturalism, particularly through education and food choices.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing with you the history of the site, the Toi Ohomai story and how our food/menu choices are influenced by traditional Māori planting and harvesting cycles.
